Frequently Asked Question

  • What do I wear? Whatever you have on is what you wear! If there is a specific skin area you wish to target, you would want it to be exposed.

  • Can I come if I’m not sick? Absolutely! There are many benefits to just relaxing through a halotherapy session.

  • Who should not come? We ask that you do not come if you are contagious, have a temperature, have acute respiratory disease, respiratory failure, lung cancer, severe cardiac disorders, cardiac and coronary disease, hyperthyroidism, untreated high blood pressure, blood disorders, or open wounds. It is always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional prior to your visit.

  • What do I do while in the room? RELAX! Deep, relaxed breathing is encouraged during your session to help you reap the full benefits! We highly encourage clients to not use cell phones during their session (phone calls are not permitted) but if you prefer to be on your phone, the volume needs to be silenced.

  • How often should I come? As often as you wish! When you come in for a session, we can make suggestions on when you may want to come again.

  • Can I take drinks into my session? We have a no drink policy in the rooms.

  • What is the temperature in the room? Is it like sitting in a Sauna? The room temperature is kept around 72*f year round.

  • Can I book a session for myself while my kids are in the Kid’s Corner? No. Children must be supervised.

  • What is a halogenerator? A halogenerator is a specialized machine that grinds medical grade salt and then blows it into an area for dry salt therapy.

  • Do I wear my shoes during a session? The Kid’s Corner and the Relaxation room both require shoes to be off (socks optional). You are welcome to wear your shoes in the Relax & Renew Room.
